George III Library Table LT30
A handmade copy of a solid beechwood George III Library Table circa 1755, copy, from which "On this table King Edward VIII signed the Instrument of Abdication 10.30am on December 10th 1936. Rectangular leather inset top with gadrooned border, three solid beechwood hand dovetailed drawers and the short sides each with one small and one dummy drawer on square chamfered legs worked with ogee lozenges headed by pierced brackets. The original was sold by Sotheby's in 1997.
